Each time you listen to Shannon's music, you will notice the great story telling. It's like a great movie- each line becomes unforgetable. I have recommended this to all my friends.

I wish that I could describe Shannon's music. I guess that i would have to say that it kind of reminds me of a Mellisa Ethridge kind of style...but then no. I don't know... But I love her! If you want to hear her work first. You can go to her website at www.shannonmoore.com and all of her stuff is on there, you can listen to it for free...and if you love it as much as I do..........BUY HER CD.
He label just collapsed on her. So she can use all of the support that she can get. I know that you are going to love her as much as I do.

The title says it all. This CD took me through a spiritual voyage, and in the end it still rocked. If you like Lenny Kravitz, Fionna Apple, and similar type music, you'll love Shannon Moore. I'm still confused as to why she hasn't blown up, because not only is she pleasing to the eye, she's very talented. LTD is all that, both musically and lyrically, and is definately worth checking out. "Eat my cake!"

Shannon Moore was nothing less than mesmerizing at the South-by-Southwest music showcase in Austin in March, 2001. I am a producer/guitarist always in search of some real talent out there. Shannon's voice has a wonderfully breathy quality reminiscent tonally of Chrissie Hynde's early Pretenders work (Brass in Pocket) but much more refined and velvety...both powerful and silky at the same time.

Shannon exudes a passion and grace in her live performance that I have rarely seen. Her LTD CD, which I got at the show, is on my regular rotation now. The simplicity and solidity of tracks like "Everything Turns Around" hit you right between the eyes.

"F*%ked Up" sums up a retrospective look at what happens in a relationship and the differences between behavior which is emotionally motivated vs. that which is logically motivated.

There is a reality to Shannon and her view of the world which leads you to believe she understands and appreciates life more than most people can ever comprehend. Maybe her near-tragic car accident a while back gave her some deep insight and poignantcy to life and the simplicity of it all and how everything hangs in balance by a marvelously thin thread.

LTD is very well produced and has some great melody hooks which burn into your brain and play back there for days.

If you want to hear a truly world-class singer/songwriter who is a much better singer than either Sheryl Crow or Chrissie Hynde...you've gotta' check out Shannon Moore. I saw over 50 bands at SXSW and Shannon had the best voice, songs, and energy live than anyone else there. She also has a new demo CD at her shows... ... .

I am expecting much Moore from Shannon in the near future...

Buy this one! Really good recording, many of these well crafted, well played songs could be coming to a radio near you. Don't just take my word, take the moment and listen to selected tracks; these are great tunes. Shannon sings with a powerful voice and uniue style.
