5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful and easy to use in fireplace, December 28, 2008

We never use our fireplace, so I decided to purchase this since lighting candles is a lot less of a commitment than starting a fire (i.e., no wood/ashes to clean up, etc.). This is perfect for a fireplace. It is sturdy and best-suited probably for 3" candles. There are no prongs to stick candles in, so you can actually use any type of candles in glass containers, but it is not something you'd actually want to carry aroud with you. We keep ours in the fireplace behind glass doors, so it seems safe enough to use, and is simple, sturdy, and beautiful to look at.

i just got mine the other day and its beautiful when all the candles are lit up. I would like another one. I have it next to my big screen TV, on a stereo cabinet top. I hope it will be available again sometime soon. I luck out of getting it since was sold out for months.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful candelabra, September 30, 2008
We used this candelabra on stage before approximately 3,000 folks at a memorial service for deceased Gold Wing motorcycle riders in the North Carolina District of Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Only the top candle was lit first to signify the light which a member might share with other riders, and then the other candles were lit one at a time during the service. When we began to list the names of our fellow riders who had passed away during the last year the top candle was extinguished, leaving the others to carry on the light. The candelabra served the purpose well, giving a wonderful visual touch to the verbal service.
