As of this review, I am in limbo. The product is great. The labeling / advertisement on Amazon, not so much. The description reads that this is a 1 gallon four pack. The main advertisement heading reads 1 gallon, though the product number indicates PK4 (which means 4 pack). It arrives as a single gallon for $93.93. This retails in nationwide retailers for about $30. Amazon refunded my money & I kept the item. Great, but I still want the 4 pack for $93.93.

I'm a believer in Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment and use it with every fill-up in both my diesel and gasoline automotive engines. My 9 year old Honda lawnmower engine began "surging" at operating throttle speeds at the end of last year's mowing season. Yesterday I thought what the heck, I'll add some Lucas and sure enough, within minutes the surging stopped and it's running like new. I keep the refillable 1 quart Lucas bottles in each of my vehicles for ease of use, but beware, the caps on those do not seal and will cause a mes if the bottle is not kept upright!

Haven't ever torn the motor down and compared post use to prior to use but I can attest to the increased mpg. Use this in a pickup, SUV, and semi trucks. Had an injector misting wrong on a semi and this cleaned it out and corrected the problem. Much better than replacing the injector. Increases mpg by 2-3 mpg in the pickup and SUV. Have noticed it doesn't do much for driving around in town but definitely has improved highway/freeway mpg.

I've used this product for more than three years. The product maintains the performance of the fuel for extended periods without deposits forming in the system. I use it in my five vehicles which stand for months at a time.

I buy the product by the case and stock it just like oil and filters as a part of a routine maintenance schedule.

There may be better products out there but I haven't found one as easy to use.

Lucas Oil Fuel and Injector Cleaner really works!!
With the addition of Ethanol to gasoline sold in the US and considering the poor quality of gasoline available to us, the need of an additive to prevent carbon build up on the valves and the emission systems is essential. This product does it!

We just purchased an Audi Q5 that has a history of carbon build up in the secondary emission system caused by low grade and low octane gasoline. In the US, even when using premium gas, it is not good enough to prevent the problem. Once the build up occurs, the engine looses power and begins to run rough. The repair requires the transmission and engine to be dropped so the secondary system can be reached and cleaned. This is about an 18-hr procedure and cost around $5000.00. Use of the Lucas Oil is noted to prevent it and we are using it every time fill up, along with the highest octane gas available. So far so good.

My previous experience with this product has been with a 1999 F250 Super Duty diesel. I used this product from the day I purchased the vehicle and at it's 150000 check up, the injectors were still rated as 'pristine'! I expect the engine to be good for at least 500k.

I purchased this product in bulk and it was a real deal!! It saved me $20 over individual gallon purchases. I use the gallon jugs to refill the small bottles of the same product that we purchased from our local auto parts store. We carry one or two of these small bottles in our vehicles at all times for convenience. This way the product is readily available for use at each fill up. It takes a little extra effort but, considering the likely hood of an engine problem due to low grade gasoline products, it is worth doing what it takes to prevent the expensive of the repair.

I highly recommend this product for both gasoline and diesel engines. It really does work!!

Recommend this product for every one who drives a car with fuel injectors.
I have used this product in my autos for 3 years, with great results.
I put 4 ounces in the fuel tank each time I fill my 13 to 16 gallon tanks.

My little car was running very poorly. I was kind of worried about it as it has a lot of miles on it and I don't really have a budget right now to include a new car. Anyway, after changing the fuel filter and spark plugs with no luck in performance. I tried this. It did something to correct the problem as it idles smoothly now. I try to add to every tank but sometimes just can't.

One other thing I can think of is since it is a lubricant this should reduce stress to the fuel pump.

This product saved me a lot of money on injector replacement . Two mechanics diagnosed a bad injector. One mechanic suggested running this product all the time. After two tanks of fuel with Lucas added as directed the problem was cured. I also gained 1 MPG so it really doesn't cost much if anything to run it.

A diesel mechanic first turned me on to this product.

I have used it in several gas engines. 87 Ford Taurus 3.0 V6 wgn, 87 Dodge Caravan 3.0 SOHC V6, 96 Dodge Caravan 2.4 DOHC 4cyl, several riding lawn mowers and a push mower.

I told my father about Lucas Fuel Treatment. He has used it in one gas Mercedes and 3 diesel Mercedes. It seems to have a more profound effect on diesel engines. Every diesel he's used it in has shown profound improvement. Every diesel engine ran better the longer he kept it. He is currently running a 98 6 cyl turbo diesel. It accelerates like a V-8 and can get 30+ mpg highway.

Used in gas engines I view this fuel treatment as a solid preventative. If you have an IMMIDIATE problem use something like Sea Foam fuel additive. For the 53,000+ miles I've owned the 96 Caravan I've used the Lucas fuel additive. It does run better now. Fuel economy in my gas engines has shown slight improvement. I get about the same mileage now in my 96 Caravan loaded, as I did empty when I first bought it. I know some of that is also due to good preventative maintenance.

Bottom line... I consider Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment to be an essential part of my vehicle/equipment maintenance program.

Thank you,
