I purchased this as an audio cassette tape when it was released in 1987. I have listened to the cassette until it is barely audible any longer. I am so pleased to find it available on CD. It demonstrates the warm, rich voice of Pavarotti and is appropriately named "Passione". The passion really comes through in this music.

This is perhaps the very best collection of neapolitan songs featuring the late, great Pavarotti. It is certainly my favorite. Conductor Giancarlo Chiaramello molds the orchestra into a glorious companion to the great tenor. From the familiar "Passione" to the powerful, rich sound of "Core'ngrato" (ungreatful heart), Luciano Pavarotti and Maestro Chiaramello thrill the listener with these beautiful songs from beginning to end. They speak for themselves far better than any critic or reviewer. Hearing every single composition, performed by such a magnificent voice, brings joy to one's very soul!

I had this CD years ago; it "went away" somehow... So glad I bought it again! If you like Luciano, you will love these Neapolitan Songs. Guaranteed. Never ceases to amaze me how clear and powerful is his voice. I am grateful I lived in His time.

This is a wonderful CD with many of the popular, romantic and

beautiful Neopolitan songs. You will enjoy this cd and Pavarotti's

voice was at it's best. I would definitely recomment this CD.
