"This movie was not the typical 'gansta, ghetto, shoot em' up or love story flick'"..."thought-provoking and interesting movie."

Product Description
LUCID is the story of four friends that experiment with lucidity. After a few tries at this experiment, the two couple's subconscious desires begin to take on a life of their own and become a driving force of the passion and rage that follow when the line between reality and the dream world blurs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do Yourself A Huge Favor . . ., September 8, 2006
. . .and stay away from this "film". This was a complete waste of my time and money. This item gives independent film a bad name. It's almost as if someone decided on Friday to make a movie, and did their best to get it done by Monday. With a camcorder. And with people who have never acted before. What a disappointment. Shame on you Candice Archie. Shame on you.

3.0 out of 5 stars Black Indie Films To Check For, November 11, 2006
By M. Walker (Washington) - See all my reviews
Thought provoking and definitely not for those with short attention spans, this flick is one to see if you like intelligent AND humorous black movies. Yeah, the production values aren't big budget hollywood but the story and good acting of the lead characters more than make up for it. Check this one out for something different.

4.0 out of 5 stars Who Control's Your Dreams, March 5, 2006
By Kenyatta B "Ken" (Chicago, Illinois) - See all my reviews
This movie is the type of movie that would make me want to see a sequel. I could watch it again and again. The cast and crew, I could swear I saw the one lead, Ben Davis on Oprah or something. The music, and the dreams combine wonderfully. They make me wonder, who control's your dreams?

My major complaint about the movie is that it concluded rather abruptly for my tastes. Still, it was entertaining and well worth my money.
