When Assistant District Attorney Paula Dixon finds Liam Croft badly beaten and shot, she does not believe his story that the attack was an accident. As the Assistant D.A. Paula is used to receiving threats. But as her involvement with Liam continues, the threats become more serious. Her home is broken into and her office is bombed. Believing the attacks are directed at Paula herself, Liam decides to take her to his home in Ireland where he is sure she will be safe.
