I own this map but bought it for half the price from an online store called unusual goods. Not sure why there is such a markup here... This map is fun to use and scratch off as we travel. Names for big cities can sometimes be in places where you might not expect them to be (same as on a normal map except here you're just guessing where to start scratching). Also, each continent is a different color. I think it would be nice to see a version that has each state or country a different color instead of all the same. All in all though, this has been a great purchase that fills our wall and gives us a reason to go explore.

I was skeptical about this map at first (about the quality), but when the package arrived, I was surprised at the
high quality of the map paper. Even the tube it came in is nice and I'm hesitant to throw it away.
The map resembles laminated paper, is more tear resistant than normal paper and may even
be water proof. (dont quote me on that)
-some of the letters of the countries unscratched seem to be blurred or distorted, and some of the map seems to be
unintentionally scratched (through packaging possibly). This is expected because the map is designed to
be easily scratched off, even with a finger nail. The lettering of the countries once scratched off is perfect
I have a family of travelers and I first bought this map to gauge whether it would be a good christmas present for them.
Like I said before I am very happy with this purchase and will be ordering 4 more soon.

I saw this product on Urban Outfitters, but it was pretty expensive there and I thought that maybe Amazon might have it. And, obviously, they do! It shipped very quickly and I was surprised at how big the map was. It was in perfect condition when I opened it up, and it looks amazing on my wall. I'm so happy I got it and if you're considering, GO FOR IT!
