Not all Leather, September 5, 2010
This "Lucky Brand" purse is smaller than it looks. The embroidery on it is beautiful and well done. Even though it is smaller, I can get all I need into it. It is a beautiful purse, and the bag itself is made of very soft, pliable, high grade leather. The only problem with this purse is the lacing used for tightening the top of the purse, or to close it. The lacing itself was not leather. I purchased this purse in July 2010, under the impression that is was 100% leather, which would mean the lacing as well. The lacing separated and then broke upon tightening. This beautiful leather handbag, and they use something other than leather for the lacing closure. They cheapened it by using low grade fake, imitation vinyl type plastic for the lacing that you have to pull to close it.
