Ordered this for my son and would not recommend the small for a child older than 4 and the large for a child older than 6 or they may not get more than a year's use. Didn't realize the sizing was youth so my first purchase was a small, tan. Returned it for the large size expecting there to be some room for growth, but it barely fit. My son is 8 and about 70lbs. We needed it for a school drama so the one time use we got out of it was acceptable.

The vest is sturdy while lightweight. A plethora of pockets is always nice, especially when you can zip them up. Size-wise, the Youth Large is not as small as I was lead to believe by some reviews. It's way too big for my 5 year old daughter. But that's a reflection on the reviews and not the vest.

I ordered this for my 7 year old grandson. I was very impressed by the quality. It has all the pockets, including a rear pocket just like the big guys vest. Sizing was very accurate. My grandson loves it!

This was a very cute fishing vest for a five-year-old birthday. She is rather small and this vest should fit her for a couple of years.

Great product. Got this vest for my nephew and he loved it. Seems pretty durable, sized slightly big so that the kids can grow into it.

We gave this to our 3 year old Great Grandson for Christmas, and he loves it. His Mom says it is well made and he will get lots of wear out of it. So cute.

This is a very cute fishing vest and my granddaughter was delighted with it. We ordered a large because reviews indicated they came rather small. Our granddaughter is a size 5 and it looks like the large will fit her for a couple years.

Cute!! I bought two of this fishing vest for my boys ages 3&6. They looked so cute and they have some room to grow in them. A well made product. Great price. The size small was bought for my 3 year old and fits well, he should be able to get a few years of wear from it. The size large for my 6 year old and same thing. Would recommend!
