I liked this book, it was well-paced with a light, cheerful, optomistic tone to it. The lesbian characters are all quite likeable, and very much like people I know in real life. The main storyline centers around a young career woman named Wendy, her on-the-job problems and her lesbian friends and their While the main character, Wendy's storyline is wrapped up nicely the author sort of left the other characters without any solid conclusions. And Wendy's crush on film celeb, Amanda Fisher, leds to what could be termed mild flirting, but it never really goes anywhere. "Lucky Girls" is this author's first novel, at least in this genre, and I look forward to more novels from her pen. She did very well, and I think her next novel will be even better.

Lucky Girls,
This review is from: Lucky Girls (Paperback)
Wendy and her friends (Alex, Gina, Steph, Pam & Lisa) are just this..."Lucky Girls". This novel runs full circle of our world from men hitting on women who don't want the attention to picking up women in bars to a sad long-term relationship of two friends crumbling and the after effects. The mystery woman whom Wendy catches glimpses of later has her head spinning to no return. And then the infamous Amanda Fisher who might find herself a dime short and a day too later. Enticingly fun!
