I ordered two copies of this book because it was recommended by Parents magazine. So I ordered one for myself and as a gift. Parents magazine described it as a book where a father teaches a son that its not luck that makes him better at baseball but hard work and practice. The book really doesn't have a strong message and some of the words are in Spanish which doesn't hold up the reading, but doesn't necessarily translate in a family with no Spanish influence. I wish I had not bought the book at all and of course will be skeptical when Parents magazine recommends another book.
