Moral of the story - Buyer beware: if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
As other reviewers stated, the soles were glued on (all of my authentic pairs have stitching in the bottom). Additionally, the signature cloverleaf heel was a square heel. The logo is also smaller than it is on the regular shoes, and the zig zag stitching is different. There is also more cushioning on the alleged fake one's - still comfy, but the real one's fit so well that they feel like a glove.
The good news is, I found these at Marshall's for $30, and those are authentic/consistent with pairs I purchased in the past from Macy's. They actually turned out to be less expensive than what I received via Amazon, and when I compared the pair I got at Marshall's with the one's I received from the seller here, they are very different. I've never had a problem like this from Amazon, and don't know if it was even shipped from their warehouse or an independent seller, so I'm not sure who is to blame.
Just check your product when you get it, or go to Marshall's first if you're looking for a steal! There might be some authentic one's out there but I have highly reasonable doubt that these are not the real thing. Needless to say, I will be returning the pair I received.
I have wide feet, and aside from a day or two of minor discomfort while breaking them in, these shoes have been incredibly comfortable. Other flats cause my feet to hurt if I am on them all day, but these don't.
I am only rating 4 stars because:
1) my brown pair had some weird wear in the heel area of the insole. Like I said, I was hard on these shoes, but I felt this wore out abnormally fast.
2) they have changed the style slightly, so I don't know if this new pair will be as sturdy:
-the logo in the footbed has changed. It was a round logo featuring the cloverleaf. now it is just the words "lucky brand".
-the heal is more squared now and does not feature the cloverleaf.
-there is more padding in the footbed (this is a plus, for sure!)
-the lining is now manmade (i think my last pair had this as well, but older pairs were leather lined).
-older pairs had stitched on soles, these are glued (as was my last pair)
Maybe the demand for these has caused them to come down on quality?
Overall, still a very nice shoe for the $45 price tag. Hard to find leather flats for such a good price, unless they are 'granny' looking.
A note about the style change -
These are NOT KNOCK-OFFS as some reviewers have speculated. It is a style change. I contacted Lucky Brand directly to verify this.Read more ›

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I don't need much arch support though, a ballet shoe is what it is. The color is awesome and liner is camo. Fit like a slipper.Published 6 days ago by Linda M.

These are cute but sadly they did not fit me. I ended up giving it to someone else who is a whole size smaller than me.Published 3 months ago by K.T.
These really, really hurt! They are very cute to look at but not practical, I avoid Lucky Brand shoes now as well as ballet style because of my experience with these. :(Published 5 months ago by Jessica Narwold
