This review is from: Lucky's Harvest: The First Book of Mana (Mana, Vol 1) (Paperback)
The setting for this book is on another planet, and the happenings arederived from the Finnish epic, the Kalevela. Not as straightforward an adventure as Julian May, for example, this leans more to the surreal side of things. Lucky was a starship pilot, ends up on an alien planet, and now it seems she has been practically deified, and wields great power and influence over others. |
