Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This is an excellent edition of the first book of Lucretius' De Rerum Natura for the intermediate-level Latin student. The editor provides a very decent introduction, text, lengthy commentary, especially on matters grammatical and philosophical, and vocabulary. The page numbers listed by Amazon are incorrect; rather than 130, it should be closer to 330.
