Book Description

Lucy the Dog that Looks Like a Pig was inspired by my dog Lucy and a time my wife took a picture of her covered in dirt and showed it at work. Some one asked completely serious "why do you have a pet pig?" and that was what got the story started. I turned that idea into a book about dealing with name calling and self image. Lucy learns how being called names can make you feel bad, and later learns the best way to deal with that problem. I recently added a few previews at the end of this book.

More About the Author

Casey Crayne does not like talking about himself, so if asked to write a bio he would probably just make something up. Casey was born in an old farm house near Lanesville Illinois. He lived there until the age of seven, he would of continued to live there if it was not for the dragons that lived in the woods. One day Casey got tired of the dragons scaring his dogs so he decided to confront them. The largest and oldest dragon, feeling insulted by the fact that this young boy was not afraid of him decided to teach Casey a lesson. He grabbed him up in his mighty claws and flew poor Casey all the way to the moon. Having no way off the moon Casey decided to build a life for himself up there. Casey soon meet a pretty moon girl Kellie and her two moon children Kayla and Nate. They all liked each other and played on the moon all day. This made the moon so happy that it decided they needed a moon child together, so the moon gave them Logan. Logan got all his energy from the moon and was soon too much to handle, so the moon gave him a dog named Lucyto play with. They all still live up there and have recently had comcast internet services installed so Casey can publish his many children's books.
