I handed this book to my 30 month old in the store, and she was immediately hooked. The pictures are wonderfully simple, and puppy Lucy is just captivating. Once we had read through the book, she loved Lucy even more-- it is simple and direct, fun and interesting. She loves to talk about how poor Lucy was bored, and so she got into trouble-- definitely an "I've been there!" book! I will be getting more Lucy books, and this will go on my list of great gifts for little ones!
