5.0 out of 5 stars Loved It
Freaky book, I absolutely loved it. Once I started I couldn't stop, I stayed up till 3am reading it then couldn't sleep because I kept jumping at noises. Just the kind of book I love.

However I found parts of his dialogue hilarious. When Beth's husband goes on about trying to think of a rational explanation for things and how telepathy was more realistic than...

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible plot
I bought this book because it was selling cheap. $4.95, and thank God it cost me less than $5. The plot is atrocious, and the ending ridiculous.

This is a horror book, it's probably suitable for readers age 11-13. Older than that, steer clear of it. The horror is clique and very predictable.

Throughout the course of reading the book, i was trying to...

Throughout the course of reading the book, i was trying to guess the ending. And seriously, i actually gave the book more credit than i should have. The endings i was speculating on were more impressive than the one in this book. Which means only one thing. I have read heaps of more remarkable books.

Don't waste your time on this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD SCARY STUFF, April 8, 2000
This review is from: Lucy's Child (Paperback)
I read this after reading a couple of Mr Hutson's more recentworks which I had been a little disappointed in, but this bookreminded as to why I started reading his stuff in the first place. This book is well written and the characters are realistic and the horror in this book is of a more physcological then some of his earlier stuff and gets your imagination going, this is not the kind of book you want to be reading alone in the dark. END
