I first read these great books by Talbot Mundy back in the early 70's, great stories and characters. Tros is one of my favorite characters of all time, sailor,warrior,,mystic,inventor and politician at need. It has been said a great man should have great enemies and Tros's enemy is Julius Caesar. I urge anyone who likes any of the more recent series, from the Lord of the Ring to the Game of Thrones to read these books...I hope you enjoy them half as much as I have!
