And even though Rocafella isn't the same as it used to be, the name itself sells records.

Disturbing Tha Peace is good, but it is not Ludacris, sure he presents it and is in just about every song, but its just not the same.

Afterall, that make some of the same crappy beats you can put together on piano's and they just got to mess up classic songs also.

I liked his first couple of albums, they were funny, creative, and displayed luda's real talent. While this CD has luda on it, it has more of the other performers, and none of them are even near luda in terms of talent. Luda is pretty funny on this album, but it seems that his last couple of cds have been getting worse and worse. If you really like ludacris, then get "Word of Mouf" or "Back for the First Time". If you absolutely love those albums, then get this one and his other two. If you just find them decent, then stop right there.

Georgia is the highlight from this album, of course, but did anyone else like Gettin Some? I felt like Shawna brought it strong for the females out there. Otherwise, this CD could have been a coaster. The two extra stars they got were specifically for those two songs. Oh, and the skits. Those were....cute?.....another white noise album.

I got one word... amazing. I'm a die hard fan of Ludacris. He is the real King of the Dirty South. His crazy flow and witty rhymes have no match, if you have gotten all of his CDs, you know what I'm talking about, he's unstoppable. You can't deny it. This album was one of the best for DTP. Better than the last one. Luda reps the dirty dirty and gives an awesome performance and so does the whole DTP Roster. These are some of the songs that stood out to me:

- "Georgia" - Classic, Ludacris, Field Mob and Jamm. did an awesome jod. They all flow amazingly

- "Put Yo Hands Up" - Upcoming group Norcflk is doing it big with this track.

- "Gettin Some" - Shawnna goes crazy. Beautiful

- "Thats My S***" - I like to call this one the lyrical bomb. Nothing but fast, clever rhymes from the roster.

- "Come and See Me" - Smoke and Stat Quoe flow really well here

- "Break A Ni*ga Off" - Lil' Fate gets his, with the help of Rich Boy and Gangsta Boo

..... I could keep going.. you know that right. All of the tracks are incredible. Get the CD. DTP 4 Life!!!!

I originally bought the CD only for one song and the rest of the songs were ok. This was my first time buying one from DTP and I was a little disappointed. It was ok.

So Ludacris has very generously decided to take his crew along for a sequel ride to the Def Jam contract room. Some have deserved to offer their John Hancock on the dotted line, others should have stayed in the parking lot and have just been allowed to play with the pretty sound system in Luda's car. The problem with "crew albums", in this case Ludacris Presents...Disturbing Tha Peace (DTP/Def Jam) is that you can't tell anybody no. On a poor block in College Park ten years ago, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges made too many promises.

Thankfully, at this point in time, any piece of wax that either has Ludacris's vocals on it or his trademark on the actual vinyl will sell and sound halfway decent. This album's lead single, "Georgia" featuring the Ray Charles inspired Jamie Foxx is a certified head nodder and the "Two Miles Hour an Hour Remix" is a cool reminder that we were right about the original's worthiness.

Cue the album's problems. There's the hourglass but there's not enough sand in it. The Disturbing Tha Peace crew was granted their chance to record an hour of music, but they fumbled in terms of what they did with it. There's a cipher song involving the whole crew called "Family Affair" that goes a little too much beyond our listening attention span. There are a couple of good appearances like 1-20's on "DTP for Life" that aren't too developed due to the overwhelming cast size. And, there's the all too cliché "Put Ya Hands Up" type track and it's called..."Put Ya Hands Up."

Still, a star emerges amidst this collage of voices and her name is Shareefa. Her solo track "I'll Be Around" is arguably the most feelable track on the CD. This young soul singer has proven that she's straight as far as merit goes when roll call comes along and her melodic humming in "Family Affair" makes the otherwise too long song a bit more bearable. But, can she Bobby Valentino it, people? It's up to the label gods to decide.

Ludacris once again brings out his crew DTP for a nationwide release. Even though the first DTP album was underwhelming mostly due to weak beats and weak flows...this time Ludacris looks to do it right and for the most part he does. The two most notable differences between the two albums are as follows: Bobby Valentino and Field Mob. These two additions to the crew add some much needed personalities and star power to DTP. Everyone knows Valentino by now from Slow Down fame and Field Mob have been doing their thing since 2000 with Field Dreams. Joining them are Shawnna, I20, Lil Fate, new singer Shareefa and Playaz Circle. Ludacris mostly lets his artists shine and they do that well. Gettin Some Head by Shawnna, Ill Be Around by Shareefa, and You Aint Got Enough by Playaz Cirlcle show the potential they have. Ludacris does his thing on Sweet Revenge and Two Miles An Hour Remix which definitely improves on the original found on Red Light District. I can't decide the best song on the cd but it is definitely between Table Dance by Bobby Valentino & Smoke and Family Affair by the whole crew. Both of these songs are amazing but I'd have to go with Table Dance because Smoke sets it off with his first verse and the beat is ridin. Also can't forget about the great single reppin the state of GEORGIA by Field Mob & Ludacris which is a classic and if you liked that song then this album is more of the same. This album is alot better than their debut, and Ludacris manages to keep dropping good albums. Pick this album up...it's a banger. 4 stars.
