I originally bought the CD only for one song and the rest of the songs were ok. This was my first time buying one from DTP and I was a little disappointed. It was ok.

Georgia is the highlight from this album, of course, but did anyone else like Gettin Some? I felt like Shawna brought it strong for the females out there. Otherwise, this CD could have been a coaster. The two extra stars they got were specifically for those two songs. Oh, and the skits. Those were....cute?.....another white noise album.

What happned Luda?,

I liked his first couple of albums, they were funny, creative, and displayed luda's real talent. While this CD has luda on it, it has more of the other performers, and none of them are even near luda in terms of talent. Luda is pretty funny on this album, but it seems that his last couple of cds have been getting worse and worse. If you really like ludacris, then get "Word of Mouf" or "Back for the First Time". If you absolutely love those albums, then get this one and his other two. If you just find them decent, then stop right there.

Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace,
This review is from: Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace (Audio CD)
I wrote a fairly lengthy review of Ludacris: Presents Disturbing Tha Peace" (2005), this site chose to delete it though for some reason. So I have chosen to do a summary instead. Highlights for me include "Georgia" an excellent track where Luda, Field Mobb and Jamie Foxx (who's upcoming album is about to blow) deliver a memorable cut, my personal favourite off this album. Midway not to many tracks grabbed my attention, I don't feel like the majority of Ludas artists delivered anything special, maybe they are saving it for their solo albums. I-20 & The Playaz Circle do deliver a banger though with "You Aint Got Enough". Overall "Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace" is a decent release.

I got one word... amazing. I'm a die hard fan of Ludacris. He is the real King of the Dirty South. His crazy flow and witty rhymes have no match, if you have gotten all of his CDs, you know what I'm talking about, he's unstoppable. You can't deny it. This album was one of the best for DTP. Better than the last one. Luda reps the dirty dirty and gives an awesome performance and so does the whole DTP Roster. These are some of the songs that stood out to me:
- "Georgia" - Classic, Ludacris, Field Mob and Jamm. did an awesome jod. They all flow amazingly - "Put Yo Hands Up" - Upcoming group Norcflk is doing it big with this track. - "Gettin Some" - Shawnna goes crazy. Beautiful - "Thats My S***" - I like to call this one the lyrical bomb. Nothing but fast, clever rhymes from the roster. - "Come and See Me" - Smoke and Stat Quoe flow really well here - "Break A Ni*ga Off" - Lil' Fate gets his, with the help of Rich Boy and Gangsta Boo ..... I could keep going.. you know that right. All of the tracks are incredible. Get the CD. DTP 4 Life!!!!

Ludacris Presents Distubrin Tha Peace,
This review is from: Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace (Audio CD)
This album is another solid album for 2005 and showcases most of the DTP roster and i say most because Bobby V is only on 1 song and Shawnna only has 1 song. The single "Georgia"is one of the better songs on the album however not the best."Family Affairs"is a classic song that showcases pretty much the whole roster.Smoke of Field Mob is a great lyricist and stands out on this album along side the General Ludacris."Put Your Hands Up", "Break A N**** Off" and Shawnna's solo effort "Gettin Some Head" are all great songs and are the standouts on the album however there isn't 1 song on the album that is bad.Im not feeling the last track with LazyEye but its not all that bad. This album is one of the best of 2005 and shows that DTP may be the strong clique in the near future although i have yet to hear an artist on the roster that can become a big hit and go platinum with the exception of Ludacris and Bobby Valentino but only time will tell!!

A Showcase of the DTP Roster,
This review is from: Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace (Audio CD)
Ludacris has released his second Disturbing Tha Peace compilation. Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace is in stores now and features Field Mob, Bobby Valentino and other DTP members. The first single from the set is "Georgia" by Field Mob with Ludacris. "Georgia" also features actor/singer Jamie Foxx. "Georgia" is followed up by the song "Put Ya Hands Up," by DTP newcomer Norflck. Norflck have a Mobb Deep kind of some. DTP female rapper Shawnna offers up the song "Gettin' Some."
Disturbing Tha Peace newcomer R&B singer Shareefa makes her debut on the single "I'll Be Around." The DTP roster gets a nice amount of time to shine on Ludacris Presents Disturbing Tha Peace but fear not Luda fans. Ludacris is featured on six tracks on the album. Album highlights include the first single "Georgia," "Come See Me," by Smoke of Field Mob and Stat Quo, "Two Miles an Hour-Remix,"by Ludacris and "Table Dance" by Bobby Valentino with Smoke of Field Mob and Lil Fate. Some of the new artists I wasn't feeling all that much, whereas some of them I really was. I most enjoyed the songs with Smoke from Field Mob I recall and I enjoy newcomer Shareefa and Bobby Valentino.

Ludacris once again brings out his crew DTP for a nationwide release. Even though the first DTP album was underwhelming mostly due to weak beats and weak flows...this time Ludacris looks to do it right and for the most part he does. The two most notable differences between the two albums are as follows: Bobby Valentino and Field Mob. These two additions to the crew add some much needed personalities and star power to DTP. Everyone knows Valentino by now from Slow Down fame and Field Mob have been doing their thing since 2000 with Field Dreams. Joining them are Shawnna, I20, Lil Fate, new singer Shareefa and Playaz Circle. Ludacris mostly lets his artists shine and they do that well. Gettin Some Head by Shawnna, Ill Be Around by Shareefa, and You Aint Got Enough by Playaz Cirlcle show the potential they have. Ludacris does his thing on Sweet Revenge and Two Miles An Hour Remix which definitely improves on the original found on Red Light District. I can't decide the best song on the cd but it is definitely between Table Dance by Bobby Valentino & Smoke and Family Affair by the whole crew. Both of these songs are amazing but I'd have to go with Table Dance because Smoke sets it off with his first verse and the beat is ridin. Also can't forget about the great single reppin the state of GEORGIA by Field Mob & Ludacris which is a classic and if you liked that song then this album is more of the same. This album is alot better than their debut, and Ludacris manages to keep dropping good albums. Pick this album up...it's a banger. 4 stars.

Well, I only purchased this simply because of the song "Georgia". I no longer listen to it because I have realized since I have been asking God for direction that he has given in to me. It is music like this that keeps us from having a peace of mind. We picture what we hear and of course with rap it is more graphic because our life usually relates to the music we listen to. I have no reviews for this but do hope that you find God and his purpose for your life if you do decide to listen to an artist who cannot take you to your destiny or hear you in time of need. Save your money or use it to contribute to your wellbeing. God Bless YOu.

This album was surprising, i like everything on the album especially DTP and their Voice. It was deep and grabbing, and to me it made me feel like going back to Georgia with Ray Charles original song "Georgia". The Rhymes and style of luda remind me of Pac. The title "2 miles an hour" is hit!!!, what a saying!!! "going two miles an hour so everybody could see me". And of course i had to add mines in by saying going two miles an hour on my scooter. I can't forget "Put your hands up", It's smash at the Nightclubs and with the ladies. My expectations before buying this album was Some cool skits even though there was only one skit by ludacris it's still one of my favorite albums.
