Great game with nice look and feel and unique rules, etc. Fun to play, but can be challenging due to the need to keep so many things in mind. It's about strategy and not luck. If you want something that requires a lot of thought, this is a good game. You move three explorers from one ice block to another across the ocean, adjusting ice blocks as you go and using fish and rope to swim, climb, feed polar bears, etc. If you're not careful, you can end up with stranded explorers. The game involves a fun and unique concept and can be entertaining.

Twist your ice sheet and move it along the flow, use ropes to link together, and fish to skip across water, but watch out for their polar bears. Players have to choose among resource use and movement as they each need to guide three explorers across the ice flow. Takes anywhere from 30 - 90 minutes, depending on experience. Solid little game. Nice board and color printed instructions. Played at a green bay game meet-up.

This is definitely one of the best race games I've played. The components are first-rate, and I especially love the blue ice flows. And it plays with a nice amount of strategy,I.e., distract the polar bears, manage your resources so that you can cross the pack ice flows(represented by jagged-edged flows) and if needed swim to another flow. We thoroughly enjoy this game and I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy race games with a generous dose of strategy.

It appears very easy till you play it and find its like chess where you need to think ahead in order to win, great for the whole family.
