After dropping a (luckily closed) water bottle (from a reading tray) while using my treadmill, I began a Google search for a water bottle holder. There are many on the market and I was uncertain which cupholder to buy for my Trotter 535 treadmill. All the available treadmill parts for adding a cupholder on my Trotter 535 have a RECTANGULAR cross-sectional shape and I was dubious if any cupholder would work. I considered the LugCup because it uses velcro but after reading the negative review, I was even more hesitant. However, I was so impressed with the company president's customer-centric Amazon reply that I phoned the company owner (he provided his cell phone in the feedback) and he guaranteed me it would work. So, I purchased.

My report ... The cupholder works perfectly! It locks tight and securely! The flexible material coupled with the velcro ties are perfect. In my judgment, it should work perfect for any treadmill. 5-stars!

We needed a slightly more sturdy cup holder for our stroller, the Joovy Scooter X2 double, to hold coffee. Although the cupholders on the fabric are fine for bottles, the kids can still jostle them. We received this in time for our Disney trip and it worked great. It did not slip or bounce. The velcro alone that you attach it with was substantial enough that we did not use the included sticky tape. We wanted to be able to remove it for the plane and thought the sticky tape would not allow us to do that with ease. We have decided to use a small piece of velcro for the next time instead, although honestly it didn't seem necessary. It is very sturdy and can withstand the abuse that anything attached to a stroller might have to endure while at Disney.

The velcro straps included are not big enough for any type of exercise equipment. This would be good if you wanted to wanted to attache it to a broomstick or something, but is inapt for anything any broader and certainly any broad frame of an exercise bike, treadmill, arc trainer, etc..

Even if you managed to duct-tape the thing to the frame, the actual cup holder is a pain to work with if you are trying to work out and easily slip in and out a cup. The rubber grips to a point to where you need both hands to put the cup in and to take it out which can be a pain if you are trying to stoop over with both hands while on an arc trainer.

This thing is extremely cheap and overpriced as well. I could not believe this thing cost $20 when I got it. It looks and feels like it's just made out of a couple vacuum cleaner belts.
