I bought this stand a while ago and I really enjoy using it. It's not very ornate but the simple lines work well in most situations. As a punch bowl the bowl did have a tendency to slide a bit in the cup but that could have been because we got the bottom wet. The dome itself is so well made I stood it up on it's handle at an office party and filled it with rolls. In stand form the dip cup works as the stand which some people find odd, but it's a very low standing dome so the foot isn't very visible and it adds extra stability to the display. (I haven't had a cat knock this over yet!)

Now the only odd thing about it is there is something going on with the curvature of this dome. It focuses the light from your windows and evaporates your baked goods! I mean seriously. The same cake I used to make and store in the microwave or oven would last several days but for some reason when I place it on the stand they're often gone in less than a day. My family insists they aren't eating anymore when I'm not looking but in the meantime I may have to move it away from the kitchen window...

I have had mind for over a year and use it all the time. The dome is larger than most cake covers which allow me to put larger cakes under the dome. I buy most of my cakes from a bakery which make them larger than normal. Great idea and works great.

Got mine at Target after reading all the reviews about customers receiving theirs broken through Amazon. Lucky me, there was one left at the store, and so far, so good. We leave it out on the counter everyday for cupcakes, bagels, bread, cakes, etc. It's made of a sturdy, heavy glass, and for $14.99, I love that I can use this for everyday AND presenting it at a party for cakes, or chips and dip, or as a cool fruit salad bowl. I love it!! Wish they had more to give as gifts!

This is great wedding gift!!!! third time give this at wedding THEY LOVE IT!!!

The first one came shattered. I received a box of glass shards. The replacement came quickly, and it is a good stand for large cakes. I make good use of it is a decorative piece on my counter with either a cake, fresh brownies, cookies, or fruit/vegetables.

I have been looking for a glass cake cover for a long time. I would have preferred one without a stand, but this design lets you turn the bottom inside out which makes it more compact for storing. The first one arrived completely shattered, but the replacement arrived quickly and intact. Great price and my cake stays fresh for days; for how long exactly I don't really know, because seeing it displayed on the kitchen counter is too inviting.

Heavy glass versatile kitchenware. Loved it. Maybe dome cover could have been a little higher. Unfortunately it arrived broken and I did not reorder because it wouldn't get here in time for the wedding shower. Sellers were absolutely fine about refunding, no problem whatsoever.

Package came before due date, was skeptical because it came in a large brown box that looked recycled (which is alright). after opening box, I found that there was plenty of packing peanuts and bubbles--Greatful for the extra cushion. Glass pieces were totally intact with no damage. mom appreciated this gift :)

It is wonderful and what a great price! What a perfect server for everyday use. I also checked the local Targets through the Target web site and found the only one left in several of the stores in the area. Most were out of stock and only a couple of stores had limited quantities. After reading the reviews I was not comfortable in having it shipped if at all possible. I feel very fortunate to have gotten it. There are similar items out there but they are more expensive and frankly some are not as nice.

I got it last night and I like a lot. The bottom tray is two sided, and the cup is made into it. I didn't pick up on that when I ordered it. Not bad at all.
