Luigi Bormioli has proven to me that they possess the exceptional quality of service that I would like to be able to expect from all vendors. When my product arrived broken from shipment, amazone.com would not replace it due to the fact that it was past their deadline. I contacted the Luigi Bormioli company and they were heappy to replace the broken glasses. When they arrived, however, they were the wrong glasses. I returned them to the company, along with the broken glasses I had received to be sure they sent the correct glasses. Again they happily sent new glasses and even included a few extra in case any broke in shipment again. I would highly recommend these glasses and this company!

I ordered these glasses just for the adults in my family. We have had child proof and unbreakable plastic glases too long. I have used sturdy thick glasses just so the kids could learn to load the dishwasher without breaking everthing. Now it's time for a real glasses. These are a work of art. Nice to look at and to hold. They did break the first time I ordered them, I think they were over packed in the box, but Amazon took care of that and replaced the broken ones. The second shipment was fine I enjoy these every day. Perfect for a tall orange ice tea.

This company makes a varied line of glassware to fit many purposes. I just wanted new water glasses that would be attractive enough to use every day and go into the dishwasher but still be elegant to use for company. Until you look around, you don't realize how difficult it is to meet this dual objective. The every day glasses are clunky and mostly without style. The fancier ones typically have to be hand washed. I highly recommend Luigi Bormioli Alfieri for large or small glasses, plus their wine glasses are also well designed and practical. Price wise, at $14.99, these particular glasses are very competitive with what you will find in the outlets, and there is no tax nor shipping (super saver item).

Hubby & I recently purchased a new set of dishes and I wanted a particular type stemware to go with it. Checked Amazon & there they were!!! We love these glasses!!! Hubby especially so as the rim is thin & he likes that. I was hesitant at first to purchase these after I read a few negative reviews, but decided to buy them and so glad I did!!!! In fact I bought an extra set in case we ever break one I won't have to worry about finding another set to match.

Fragile! One broke in the dishwasher.
14 ounces? Doesn't that mean a can of soda would easily fit inside it? Not a chance. These slim tall glasses hold, at best 8 oz.
They look larger in the photo than they are, and the misleading volume info suggests they ARE larger. They're kind of small, actually. The opposite rim mashes my nose when I drink with it, whereas the rim on a larger glass would spare me. Ok, maybe MY FACE could use some reconfiguring...
Otherwise, nice design, and they sparkle.

They will look so pretty on the table. Not as heavy as they appear to be but by no means flimsy, thin glass either. I just love them. I bought an open box set & got a screaming deal but I like them so much I'd be willing to pay full sticker for them.

This was a gift for my mother and she recieved it early and in perfect condition and is already gotten compliments on the look and quality of her new glasses. Wonderful price for the quality.
