The Italy thing is sure misleading the glasses are made in China. The glasses are nice and heavy but the black swirl is fuzzy in some of the glasses and there are bubbles in the glasses. For the price I expected better quality. I think I am done ordering online may cost more but Im only buying what I can see my last several purchases on Amazon have been a disappointment

These glasses are beautiful! They're nice and heavy and look absolutely gorgeous on our dinner table!!!

I bought the entire collection of the Luigi Bormioli black swirl lines - the martini glasses, wine glasses, short and tall glasses and the pitcher. I love them all, although the pitcher recently cracked at the handle, much to my great dismay. The design is VERY sharp - I have received tons of compliments on this line with every bbq or dinner we host. I LOVE them. The glasses I have put in the dishwasher with no issues whatsoever - they are nice and heavy on the bottom, no tippage and they feel very high quality. Would (and have!) recommend highly. ;D

I have the Corell simple lines dinner plates and bought these glasses and the matching Luigi Bormioli wine glasses to go with my plates. I absolutely love the wine glasses, but these glasses were just all right. They weren't as elegant looking as the wine glases are. I think the black lines should have been a little closer together and the thickness of the glass seems odd (probably makes it durable, but it seems a little thick.) I'm keeping the glasses because they look great with my plates and with the wine glasses, but if I bought these glasses without anything matching...I might have taken them back. Still okay!!!, but not phoenominal. (Also, I ordered 2 pkgs of these [8 total glasses], and 1 of the 2 boxes were shattered. Amazons return are super easy and now, less than 12 hours after filing a complaint, Amazon has already shipped my replacements. Super easy.)

I have been using these for over a year now and can honestly say that they are the coolest looking glasses I own. It's always cool to pull these out for a fancier dinner with friends/family. I haven't tried putting them in the dishwasher so I cannot comment on that. When I first ordered them about 1/2 the glasses in the two boxes had small 1 to 2 mm round cracks/bubbles so I did return them for replacements but the return shipping was free.

When I got my new dishes I wanted new glasses to go with them and I wanted all of my glasses to match, I didn't realize how much I was asking for. The sets that I found in stores all seemed rather inexpensively made and breakable. I didn't want to go with finer crystal that would have to be individually bought because I was trying to stick to a budget. I finally found these and decided to give them a try. I purchased the wine glasses and tall and short glasses and they were just what I was looking for. They are beautifully made and feel very sturdy but they didn't break the bank either. We've had them for over a year now and haven't had a single chip yet and we even wash the wine glasses in the dishwasher.

These cups are really pretty and are surprisingly big. The glass is handblown so there are inconsistencies between glasses but that's to be expected. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the lip isn't a cut edge lip, it's rounded, which makes it look more casual. However, it'll probably be less likely to chip because of it.

I registered for these at Target for my wedding, and when I did not receive a full set, I turned to Amazon. They had these glasses at a great price. They are sturdy and beautiful, and have held up well so far in the dishwasher. Definitely recommend.

When I bought my Corelle "Simple lines" dishes several years ago, there were no coordinating accessories. I bought some glasses that would do but I never liked them. When I saw these glasses, I was delighted. I have both sizes, they make a beautiful table setting . They are sturdy enough for everyday family use. i am so glad I found them.
