I looked and looked for the perfect iced tea glasses. I wanted something: beautifully minimalist (no grooves, or dots, or whatever), large (20 oz.), dishwasher safe, and made with good quality glass. And after searching everywhere it seemed, I finally found these and they've been great over the many months I've had them!

Unlike the cheap glasses I got from Target, these have held up very well and haven't broken in the dishwasher for no apparent reason. Though some have broken, it was only after my cats decided to knock some onto a terrazzo floor -- which would have broken just about anything made of glass.

I will happily replace them, though, because I have not seen a better set of glasses for this price. They even have a great feel to them, both holding and drinking.

I like these glasses. They don't streak much in the dishwasher. They have heavy bottoms that help prevent knock overs.

I just wanted some solid general purpose nice glasses and like one of the other reviewers I wanted something simple (no designs, grooves, dimples or any of that). I admit, I found them outside of amazon at one of the home stores and impulse bought them. I've been so pleased with them that it warranted making a review here.

Note, they are pretty hefty. Even empty they have quite a mass to them compared to a lot of glasses. But I really like the extra weight since they don't feel cheap at all (even though they are very affordable IMO).

Very nice glasses - nice and heavy base so they don't fall over too easily. There isn't any funky groove in the bottom either so when they come out of the dishwasher they are clean; no funky residue hanging around on the inverted bottom. Not too pricey either I don't think - of course I ain't exactly the type who buys fancy glasses, so take that for what it's worth. I'll buy more when the time comes!

These are plain but handsome. They feel solid and heavy in the hand, but not too heavy; I think they'll probably last well. When I flick them with a fingernail they make a lovely chiming sound.

Great for a nice tall drink. The 20oz size is perfect for cold summer drinks. The base is heavy, this keeps the glass from falling over too easily, but don't push your luck. The sides of the glass are average thickness for higher end glass, which is to say they aren't as sturdy as commercial restaurant glasses. On the other hand this isn't nearly as fragile as fine crystal. Certainly can be washed in the dishwasher, but be mindful of etching on fine glass.

These are a good size for any kind of non-alcoholic iced beverage, especially tea. Nice complement to the rest of the set too!

These glasses are great - solid, heavy, classy, stylish... they're up there with Orrefors or Waterford or Reidel glassware. I would like to buy a lot more of these!

I got these as water glasses because I wanted something really large.. they're a bit on the heavy side, but they won't tip over or break easily, which is a plus. They're also very attractive. Overall, I like them a lot!

I looked for a long time for these glasses. I wanted something large, simple, and easy to hand-wash, since we don't have a dishwasher. These delivered and then some. They are beautiful and have a nice weight when you hold them. We also got the 14 oz and the 8 oz juice glasses, and they're all marvelous. I will mention that we ordered 12 of these, and there was a noticeable chip in one of the glasses in our first order (due to manufacture, not poor packaging). There was also a similar noticeable chip in the set Amazon sent to replace the first chipped set. However, the third time was the charm, and now we have 12 chip-free glasses that have already become indispensable. HIGHLY recommended.
