About the Author

Roberto Tejada is a visual arts critic, photography historian, and curator. Currently assistant professor of Art History, Theory, and Criticism in the Visual Arts Department at the University of California, San Diego, Tejada has taught in the Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies program at Dartmouth College where he was the Cesar E. Chavez Fellow (2002-2003). Derrick R. Cartwright is Director of the Hood Musuem of Art, Dartmouth College. Donald E. Pease is Professor of English and Avalon Chair of the Humanities at Dartmouth College.
