Dr. Mcgee places the cookies on the bottom shelf
Though Dr.Mcgee is no no longer with us his simple, compeling style lives on. The simplicity and expertise of the author make this volume a plus for your biblically centered library.

Thin gruel and weird speculation
In this commentary, Dr. McGee too often simply reiterates Luke's text in his own words, adding little insight and some very unorthodox speculation. If you really want to learn something about Luke's Gospel in a reader-friendly format, choose the commentaries by William Barclay and Tom Wright.
