About the Author
J. Ellsworth Kalas, Senior Professor of Homiletics and former President of Asbury Theological Seminary, has written more than thirty-five books, including the popular Back Side series and Longing to Pray: How the Psalms Teach Us to Talk with God. He has been a video presenter for DISCIPLE Bible Study and is the author of the Christian Believer study. Kalas served on the World Methodist Council for five years in evangelism and pastored United Methodist congregations for thirty-eight years. He lives in Lexington, Kentucky.
