Whatever sleep music you choose for your baby, you'll end up hearing yourself about a million times over the baby monitor. We got some free sleep CD's- some w/ nice music and some that was kindof annoying. I wanted some more variety and stumbled across this CD. I LOVE it! It is beautiful!!!

Now my son is a little older (just turned 2) and whenever the harp music starts playing (b/c it's mixed in w/ some others on his iPod) he notices the different sound of it and says "ooooohhhhhhh da pretty harp!!!"

This CD is the best nighttime, relaxing music I have found for our toddler. the harp is very calming and soothing, and the tempos stay slow and relaxing. I've listened to other CDs that sometimes have distracting vocal qualities or a loud or fast section, but this CD is my favorite. It is also longer than most, something like 60 minutes, which I appreciate. I can't recommend this enough. Beautiful, relaxing, soothing, everything you'd want in lullaby music.

My toddler is normally fussy at naptime. There's too much to see, and all kinds of trouble to get into. But this afternoon I was listening to this CD's 30 second song samples...and her eyes gently closed...and she drifted off completely by sample #4! That never happens. I immediately downloaded the album, and she is still dreaming blissfully over an hour later. Try playing the samples for you sleepless little one...and if it works, buy the CD! You won't regret it.

Harp lullabies are perfect for napping. Don't expect to lie there listening for long you little people.
