Kristen Matthews might be any typical Oregon college girl. She studies, works, listens to music, goes to parties, volunteers, and plays in the snow. She is also a chronic daydreamer. Kristen allows her mind to carry her far away and revel in new experiences while she battles internally with the desire to daydream and the fear of losing all touch with the real world around her. Her relationships with her father and her friends plunge her further into confusion and doubt as she fights the self-diagnosis of insanity. A great escape for a rainy day!,

Edwin creates an easy environment to slip into, just as its main character slips easily between her day-dreams and reality. The places her mind seems to go and the associations related to her internal destinations are what make this such an enjoyable read! All the characters, for that matter, can immediately be identified with and you feel you have known them all your life (or at least have people like them in your life).
This is great brain-candy for a rainy day and I recommend it for anyone looking for a little escape into someone else's head for a while.
