We got this as a gift, and it's the most beautiful collection of lullabies we've found. It doesn't feel childish at all, and many of the songs are hauntingly beautiful. It's our nighttime staple now!

We've had this album for a few years now, and it's been a staple during bed-time. The lullabies are amazing, each coming from a different part of the world and/or cultural background.

Even as an adult I enjoy listening to this album. It certainly doesn't have an annoying or childish feel to it; rather it's calming and sophisticated! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in bed-time music.

I don't know why this album hasn't been reviewed/isn't linked with other international lullaby collections. We received several as gifts for our first baby and this collection is by far our favorite. Not a clunker in the lot, unlike many collections. Each song is unique, but the compilation flows incredibly well.

Truly soothing, never trite or cloying.

An album an adult will enjoy listening to that will also do the trick to get your kid down.

Beautiful, soothing music that has proven to calm and quiet my active toddlers. it's the only collection that has actually quieted them enough to indulge in a much-needed nap. And, though they may be children's lullabies, it's one of my favorite CDs as well. It is definitely not the typical collection of cute little children's songs but wonderful listening for all ages.

It's a terrible shame that it's been discontinued, because it is without question the jewel of our children's music collection. It's something and can be used during a calm day or just before bedtime as things are winding down. It's nice enough to put on in the background when it's just you (and/or your spouse) relaxing because there's nothing childish about it. If you are looking for a gift this is honestly the perfect lullaby cd, and everyone that's heard it has asked me about it. I really can't say enough about how good it is compared to other children's lullaby collections out there.
