I would suggest that everyone buy this CD! This is the most soothing and relaxing CD I have found. The music is just the right mix of vocals and instrumentals to help your children and yourself relax or sleep. Susie's voice is beautiful and the instrumentals are wonderful. When my baby was up at night with colic, it really helped relax him as well as myself. Buy this CD and the Lullabies for Sleepy Eyes and you can't go wrong. I am a musician and I am very picky about music. I would pay three times as much for these beautiful CD's!!!!(GREAT BABY SHOWER GIFT!!!!)

Our 16 month old son has been falling asleep to this CD since we brought him home from the hospital. The first time I heard Susie Tallman's angelic voice, I was brought to tears. The songs are beautiful versions of old classic lullabies and will soothe your baby to sleep in minutes. It was also great to calm our son down if he was fussy. I now buy this CD for friends with new babies because it is a favorite of ours and a must have!

Susie Tallman has created a fresh, new rendition of familiar lullabies. Many of these are the traditional songs we all remember from our childhoods but she has recorded them in a style that makes them sound contemporary. I enjoyed her versions much more than typical recordings which sound like they use toy pianos or music boxes for the instrumentation. I also enjoyed her inclusion of less familiar songs like Dona Nobis Pacem and the Armenian Lullaby.

We've been listening to this CD every night since our daughter was about 8 weeks old (she's now ten months). It's just beautiful, and as other people have posted, some of the songs have brought me to tears at times. It's a peaceful compilation of beautiful lullaby tunes.

Lullaby Themes for Sleepy Dreams is a wonderful blend of age appropriate lullabies to help sooth your baby or toddler to sleep. It also creates a beautiful ambiance after a long day of running around with your child and you just want some down time.

I highly recommend this cd to every household with a baby or toddler. It relaxes Mom and Dad too!!!

I bought this for my children and loved it. I now buy it as a wonderful gift for all my friends.

This album is a real treat. Ms. Tallman and her accompanists keep things simple, and her wonderful soprano voice brings out the true magic of each song. A worldly and eclectic song selection makes the music enjoyable for infants and their parents alike. I bought this album for my infant niece, and the calming effect it has on her is actually amazing to watch. Very highly recommended!

Another beautiful, warm, rich CD. The whole family loves this album (and the other two from Susie Tallman). Her lullaby CD's have become our standard gift for people with new children. All parents should have these....

My two month old loves this music whenever I put it on she calms down.Very soothing and relaxing for mom too.

And again Susie does it .. her voice is so remarkable, I would love to hear her do her own songs.
As with her first album, it seems there has been a great deal of time spent on researching the lullabye theme because I think she has not only picked wonderful tunes, but crafted them to maximum effect!
I really hope there are more albums to come!!
