I bought this due the the mommyreporter review. I highly recommend (like she suggested checking your local TJ maxx or Marshalls for this product sold for $19.99) Anyway, i have used this consistently for about 3 months day and night and while it kind of brightened my overall complexion, it did nothing for my post acne dark marks. I also tried the other lumedia spot treatment (again $12.99 @ tj maxx or marshalls) and that didnt do jack either. I guess it does work for some people but definitely not for me.

I am a licensed esthetician and was skeptical of course, but I tried a sample for a few days and then bought the product. You will notice a difference in a matter of days. However, once you stop using it, the darkness will reappear....as with most skin care products...you have to keep using something. Although it's a 'facial brightener' I have been using it to fade the lines on my neck above my decolletage and behind my neck (I have short hair). I am Hispanic with a mocha brown skin tone and it lightens just to my skin's physiology. It won't get so light that I will be discolored like Michael Jackson. LOL.

I have used this product for three weeks and see a big difference! I had some sun damage on my forehead and cheeks, this has made them much much better. I highly recommend this as an alternative to hydroquinone.
