Product Description
The LumiQuest UltraBounce distributes the light over approximately 180 degrees so that it can bounce off walls and ceilings to evenly illuminate a scene. The opaque sensor screen keeps the light from affecting the automatic sensor on most flash units.Application: To soften shadows and help eliminate "Red Eye".

This is basically a piece of semi-opaque vinyl plastic sheeting held over the flash head with adhesive and velcro.
It does soften flash glare, especially for closeups. Whether it is worth the price will depend on whether one is motivated to try and make the device from household materials...

The diffuse effect is adequate; but I made one but cutting out a small opaque food container with a mat knife contouring it to my flash. Cost about five cents.
