UPDATED REVIEW (downgraded from *** to *, and wish I could have given it zero stars)

Around six months after purchase this lamp stopped functioning. Light output is about 1/10 the normal amount and it does NOT respond to touch. So, it's either on or off all the time (however it happens to feel). Which makes it worthless and is heading for the trash shortly. Learned that the warranty is an abyssmal 90 days! This is a ridiculously short warranty for an item (i) that uses LED technology which is supposed to last several years; and (ii) that has no moving parts. I can't think of a single electronics item that is even remotely similar that doesn't have at least a one-year (parts) warrantly. This is disgraceful. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake ... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!

When I read that this lamp includes "a super-bright LED bubble" I assumed it would easily outshine a 10W incandescent bulb ... I was wrong. Although admittedly attractive (and, frankly, the only reason I'm not returning it), it's incapable, in my view, of providing sufficient illumination to work at a desk. For the price paid I could have purchased something a lot more functional. Buy this lamp because you simply love how it looks (not because you need light at your desk to work by). Otherwise, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

I purchased this lamp for my black office armoire where my laptop is located. I loved the look but the light wasn't bright enough so I placed it in another location in my Living Room, where light wasn't an issue. Other than not giving off enough light, it is beautiful and I love that it is a touch lamp. I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my boss(male attorney). I was very nervous that he wouldn't like it since he's very hard to buy for. Well, he absolutely loved it and immediately found a place on his desk next to his computer screen. It's definitely not a reading light but it has nice illumination. He has received many favorable comments on it already. He laughed at the white glove which is included. Again, I highly recommend.
