5.0 out of 5 stars Excellente album

3.0 out of 5 stars Good CD, Some Strong Songs
I have been following Lucybell for an online magazine, and saw them in concert last year. I can say they are great musicians but also they are pretty dark. That's why I disagree with a few reviewers here: tracks like Ojos del Silencio actually enhance the CD and their lives shows, because it gives the audience a break to catch their breath and changes the pace, as well...

4.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous, except..., March 27, 2005
This review is from: Lumina (Audio CD)
Why did they let another band member sing on several tracks?

Claudio's voice is one of the things that defines LUCYBELL. The few tracks in which he does not sing sound pretty awful, which is not like LUCYBELL.

All the other LUCYBELL albums are five stars, this one, in addition to the few lousy tunes, contains a few more throw-ons.

Now, for the good,

"Salvame la Vida," "Piedad," and "Invierno Verde," are among the band's best tunes, these will be among their classics. Also, "Golpes," and "Hoy Sone," are great tunes.

LUCYBELL is my favorite band, their music will appeal to fans of Caifanes/Jaguares, Soda Stereo, and Moenia. The lyrics tend to be abstract, dark, and profound. The music has a spacey, goth feel to it.

This is a must have for all LUCYBELL fans. If you have never heard them, I reccomend starting with PECES, VIAJAR, SESION FUTURA or AMANECE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucybell keeps getting better and better, February 13, 2005
This review is from: Lumina (Audio CD)
I've always been a fan of lucybell, They're original. After hearing their song Salvame la vida I knew I had to buy this album. Sure enough the whole thing is great. My personal favorites are Salvame la Vida, Mi Propia Cruz, Hoy Sone, Esperanza, Angel, Ojos del Silencio. I DJ on a community radio station and do the Spanish rock shows. My listeners never get tired of listening to Lucybell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucybell a lo grande!, May 22, 2004

5.0 out of 5 stars Buen Disco, April 9, 2008

That's why I disagree with a few reviewers here: tracks like Ojos del Silencio actually enhance the CD and their lives shows, because it gives the audience a break to catch their breath and changes the pace, as well as touches the heart. What do I think about the future of Lucybell? Lots of upside - they could go down as a type of Latin American U2 if they continue to innovate and do not produce too many dark songs. Tough to say. In concert, they can come off as being too powerful, which is tough on the ears.

3.0 out of 5 stars Que paso que este disco?, October 9, 2004
This review is from: Lumina (Audio CD)
