I bought this for my son to put in his room. It's pretty much as advertised and looks cool, but after it was on for awhile I would occasionally see some sparks in the power unit behind the glass plate. So, we were careful not to leave it on for long periods. Occasionally you can also notice an ozone type smell around it, which may be normal. In the end, my son accidentally knocked it over and one corner of the glass broke off.
