I've bought two of these within two months. My first shattered, after being knocked off of a shelf that wasn't even a foot off of the ground, and my current one sounds as if the electro-crap is about to bust out of the glass. It's a lot noisier than the first. It was a cool concept--it basically takes the ideas of a plasma "globe", and puts it almost flat. No wonder you can't find these anymore...they must have quit making them because of their quality. Nice idea, though.
