I have to admit Luminoxs' look like bada$$ watches. I think they have a great design and the Tritium tubes are awesome but the praise stops there. No matter what hi-tech jargon they use to describe the materials it is made with, its still PLASTIC. And the crystal is just a mineral and not the more expnesive and durable saphire. I work n play in a tough environment and within months the crystal became scratched. My trusty Seiko Diver (SKX007J) has a mineral based crystal as well but has held up much better even though it has been to hell an back.
To continue, a few months after the scratch on the crystal, the Tritium pip on the bezel at the12 o'clock fell out! No excuse for this. They might advertize this as a "Navy SEAL Dive watch" but it is not even ISO certified to be a real diver. This has a large Navy Seal insignia on the case back. I doubt any real Navy SEAL would want something to identify them in enemy territory. In conclusion a great "look at me watch", but way too overpriced and poorly made to play with the big boys.
