This is a nice watch. The red and black look great and I really like the light weight carbon case and rubber strap.
The only thing I don't like about the watch is that the dot on the bezel doesn't illuminate. I contacted the seller and he said he compared several watches of model #8815 and that they all had either very faint or no illumination. He offered to accept the watch in return with no restocking fee but I decided to keep it. If you are considering purchasing this watch just be aware that the dot on the bezel may not illuminate which will make it impossible to use the bezel in darkness.,

This watch is the right size, lightweight and as advertised. Glows brightly in any light and is built strong. I was very fortunate to catch it at $110 below suggested price. Good looking and tough, a fantastic everyday watch. Can't beat the deal. HAPPY.

This was my first purchase of a Luminox watch and it was worth the wait!!! Great price point at the time(Some recently seen on Amazon have slightly lower price points) The watch shines brightly and continuosly, even when stored in total darkness for an extended period time. Packaging and shipping from Amazon was on point, all around A++, making Amazon my top 3 for online shopping.

I bought this watch in January of 2011; and in July I noticed the watch was no longer functioning. I thought it was a battery issue, but when I took it into a local watch store they pointed out that the second hand was hitting the minute hand. If you held the watch face down you could get the second hand to move over the minute hand. You will find that there is no way to contact Luminox. They don't list any phone numbers on their website, and the only email they have is bogus. You will get a delivery failure if you try to email them. It was a $95 repair on a $250 watch. Luminox watches have a lot of problems for a manufacturer that brags about their military contracts. I will not be purchasing another Luminox in the future; too expensive for how often they malfunction.

Very happy with this watch!! I read some reviews others had written about this model watch that said the 12:00 on the rotating bezel doesn't illuminate well. I did not find this to be the case. All 12 markers are very bright, as is the marker on the rotating bezel. The band was a little long for my liking, so i trimmed off triangular tip of the band with a utility knife.

This was the second luminox watch I purchased and the previous one lasted about 10 years. I love the watch and it wears great but it is difficult to see the numbers with the contrasting colors. Otherwise it illuminates great and I can see the bezel dot glow. Whether you are an operator or a desk jockey this is a great watch and worth the purchase.

I have been wearing this watch for several weeks now. The watch is very light, and very comfortable. The illumination is bright enough to be readily visible. I am very happy with this purchase.

I had thought I made an excellent purchase upon receiving the watch, as the watch appeared to be very well made, but after experiencing fogging under the crystal in direct sunlight on two occasions, I was forced to return the watch. I find it difficult to believe that a watch that is rated for two hundred meters of water, should have such an issue. Not to mention the fact the case was supposed to be made of stainless steel, but arrived as a resin type material.

I really wanted a top quality water proof watch!

This was my 4th Luminox watch and it is by far the nicest one of the bunch. It is easy to read in light and especially in darkness. You don't have to push any buttons or hold it under a lamp or expose it to sunshine to make it glow in the dark. It is made for active wear, like surfing, diving and yet is stylish enough to wear to the office in a suit. Very comfortable and classy. I highly recommend it.

This is a great watch I like that it's very light and looks great. Unlike some other reviews the dot on my bezel glows brightly.
