The other reviewers who downrated this watch are correct. Right out of the box the hour hand was mispositioned. A few weeks later moisture showed up under the crystal. Then a month ago the watch started to run sporadically. Since I bought it in August I figured it would be under warranty so I returned it to Luminox's repair facility in Cranston, R.I., only to be informed that Amazon is not an authorized dealer and it will cost $97 to repair the watch. That money is going toward another watch that IS NOT LUMINOX!

Mine broke in a year and I just had this problem.

Don't waste your time. This Luminox watch is at best, a factory second. I suspect it may be a knockoff. If I can return it I will! The second hand does not work properly and the band keeps falling apart. It is unwearable and useless!

I've had this watch for about a year and it is one of my favorite watches (other watches include Tag Huer, Christopher Ward, Seiko, etc.). Keeps great time and is very, very tough. I am also growing very fond of the velcro watch band.

I, like many of the other reviewers, had no luck with this watch. I didn't buy the watch from Amazon, but I thought I would warn those of you who may be considering this piece. I read and heard about the legendary toughness of Luminox watches and that is what sold me on them. I go down the local outdoors store and plunk down approximately $200 for this thing only to have the second hand fall off within the first year of ownership. I am rough on watches, but there is no excuse for a watch at this price point to break in such a short time. Meanwhile, my 4 year old $50 Timex is still going strong.

I've read good reviews for some of the company's other watches, but my experience with this one will preclude me from buying anything else with the Luminox tag. In short, if your looking for a rugged reliable watch, look elsewhere.

A Great Watch and Amazon has the best prices for it. Great for an active diver or runner. I recommend this item and it's well built and has a sweet style to it.

Everything was great with this item. The service was quick the item was just what they said.

This was the biggest wast of money, it only took 1 month for the minute hand to fall off in the watch, the watch that is suppose to be water proof would fog up when I would wash my hands. After the minute hand fell off the button that you adjust the time came off and that was the end of that watch. You are better off giving your money to bum on a street corner then to buy this thing they call a watch. Stay away!!!!!! Save your money and buy the cheapest dive watch out there and you will be happier.
