The Luminox SR-71 is a very handsome watch - Luminox's most attractive, I think. It's weighty but not too thick to be comfortable. Accuracy is about on a par with most other automatics, i.e., needs a slight correction every week or so if you're fanatical about which minute you're really at. Resetting day and date, when needed, is very easy - on some watches (automatic or not) this can get fiddly. However: after one year of very occasional use, the stem pulled completely out one day. My local watch-fixer could do nothing, so I sent it to the authorized repair facility where it was repaired - for more than $500. The qualification to the 'however' is that I queried Ariel Adams, the well-known watch expert, who replied that he'd never heard of the Luminox automatic having this kind of problem before - so perhaps I just had bad luck (I am not tough on a watch). If I hadn't had this incident, I would have given this watch five stars.
