After 4 months of limited useage in an EMS course the Lumiiscope failed entirely on me. I can't say it was the same model (the model isn't printed on the thing)but ...it was a close model. It is not one that I want to rely on however.

The model I have was never used over 20 times. Then one day I tried to take a BP and it choked above 40....then suddenly sprang to 300 and the proverbial "ping" occured. It decided after that everything was 120!~

I'm saving the cuff...but ..I really don't want to go back to that day when I had to rely on it.

Well-made, functional, and easy to use home blood pressure cuff. Instructions for use are clear and straightforward. A great deal for the price!

Works fine. Readings match doctor's office and devices in pharmacies for customer use.
BUT, if the machines in pharmacies sometimes fail to give you a reading at all, you may not be able to hear the pulse on this stethoscope.
The product works fine for me. Useless for my wife (for reason noted above).

This is basically a run of the mill analog BP monitor. Like the one that most doctors use.
It is not really meant to be easy to use, but unlike the cheap digital BP monitors that
can give completely wrong readings, for the price I paid, this one gives consistent
readings. There is a bit of a learning curve though. Now I am pretty comfortable with it
it. The instructions are not very good. So I went to the web and found better
instructions. If you are willing to learn how to use it, which might take a couple of days,
I think this is a good buy. Amazon's price was good and they shipped it instantaneously

I have had a stroke so learning something new is very hard for me. This was so easy to use. I am telling other people about it.

BP cuff is great the stethoscope is very, very, very poor quality and would not encourage anyone to purchase the set if they want a quality BP reading.

What a bummer. I bought this for a gift for a patient of mine where I volunteer here in Uganda, Africa, and had a friend bring it over. It reads about 20 points below zero with no pressure. It needs calibration straight out of the box. The $5.00 cost to send it in for recalibrating is no help from Afirca, and the poor baseline calibration took all the joy our of giving my patient a self empowering gift, as well as all the value. A total waste of $20.00 There is no way for the user to self calibrate, so all i can do is tell my patient to subtract 20 from his readings. Very dissatisfying.

I've purchased this manual BP monitor from Amazon for $11.99. It was really bargain. Most of all it was very accurate. My blood pressure is very stable after taking rest. But the other wrist type BP monitor(Panasonic EW3002W) which does not read consistent value. My mother had Omron 630 wrist type BP monitor which was about $70 four years ago. She really like that BP monitor and it was also accurate. It really help a lot to lower her blood pressure without any medication. It read very similar value as what she got from hospital. I believe this manual BP monitor is as accurate as my mother's with several fraction of price. Even though it is manual type, it is straight forward to use it once you take the measurement. It is obviously more bulky than wrist type BP monitor, but I would buy it again if I need it one more due to it's accuracy at real bargain.

The blood pressure cuff works well and is easy to use for a beginner. The included stethoscope, however, is not too good compared to more expensive cardiology ones, making the acquisition of blood pressure difficult if using the included one. Overall, good product at a good value.
