Unless my blood pressure has jumped 20 points on both systolic and diastolic scale, then this is not accurate. I worked in a hospital for twenty years, so I think I can use this device properly. I sent it back.

I bought this after reading good reviews about it, although I don't see the good reviews now. I am a nurse and thought it was very cheaply made. The on/off button broke after 2 times. Do not get this.

This monitor constantly records a 30 to 40 percent higher blood pressure than the arm monitors. I checked with a doctor and I was informed that wrist BP is NOT higher than arm BP. So, I stopped using this product.

I am afraid it is the worst blood pressure monitor in the world. Do not waste your time. I test it more than 10 times, my highest blood pressure dropped from 120 to 40. ridicious!! worst worst. Should not sell here at all. I do not even want to give it a star. It should be No star !! I want my money back!

Very disappointed with this item. I have a very small lower arm and wrist and can not get cuff tight enough to work.

I gave this to my 71 year old mother. It is easy to use and keeps her updated on here bp as well as pulse rate. I rated it a 5 because the value is excellent. She is very happy with it.

IF you are looking for accurracy, a true BP reading, a potential early warning life saving device, then the lumiscope 1143 automatic blood pressure monitor is NOT it. This product has been consistant, unfortunately it is consistantly WRONG! The only real value I found with this device is the batteries that came with it.
Move on to a product that is accurate and worth the money.
Do not let the one star fool you, I had to rate it before it would publish.

THIS IS A PERFECT MONITOR FOR THE PERSON THAT WANTS A MONITOR THAT EITHER DOESN'T WORK OR CONSISTANTLY INACURATELY SHOWS YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AT STROKE LEVELS. THE FIRST LUMISCOPE 1143 THAT WAS SENT TO ME WOULDN'T EVEN TURN ON WHEN NEW BATTERIES WERE IN THE DEVICE. I TESTED THE SECOND DEVICE OVER A THREE DAY PERIOD. IT CONSISTANTLY DELIVERED PRESSURE READINGS THAT WERE IN STROKE LEVEL. I CALLED MY DOCTOR AND HE HAD ME COME TO HIS OFFICE. HE TESTED ME USING HIS EQUIPMENT. IT SHOWED NORMAL READINGS. THEN WE USED THE LUMISCOPE. THE LUMISCOPE'S READING WAS STROKE LEVEL. HE RECOMENDED ONLY USEING ONLY MONITORS WITH CUFFS THAT FIT OVER THE UPPER ARM.

they all come with the internal pressure pipes broken, i needed to open everyone and seal the broken pipes so that the LCD panel wouldn't say error each time i wanted to make a test. hey you get what you pay for.
