The back support helps, but I expected a more rigid appuratus. I ordered this thinking that it would have flat metal rods.

I had a very bad back pain that I decided to buy one og these back support stuff. It's helping a lot! However, the only imporovement that it needs is that it needs to be a little longer to cover more back area. Other than that it's helping amazingly.

NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR A INJURED BACK, WOULD BE OK FOR WORK PROTECTION.

The back support works prety well and I had one for 4 years and it is still in good shape.

It needed to have a soft fabric padded lining. as all my others have ,Lumiscope Criss Cross White Back Support, Mediumin front. It scratces the heck out of my stomach. Can't wear it for very long as it tends to pinch after a while.

I purchased this back brace upon losing the surgery braces my grandma had given me. The Lumiscope Criss Cross brace has been absolutely wonderful as a brace for lifting heavy objects, exercising, and helping me make long drives. I have slight scoliosis, and the way my back grew I am always at odds with my hips relaxing. Even after therapy, I still cannot inline skate (at one point, my main mode of transportation) without hurting myself unless I have a brace to aid me. I use the brace sparingly at this point, no longer needing it for running and elliptical machine purposes. I retaught myself to run without it as I began relying on it rather than doing specific exercises to strengthen my abs and back.

I will caution anyone using back braces to not use a brace consistently because your muscles will lose what strength they have, leaving it up to you to go through the little therapy exercises to get you back to where you were. It's a pain in the butt. Also, it is much more comfortable to have some type of cloth in between it and your skin, like a tank top or a tee shirt. It can get itchy! It is also helpful to have that cloth to absorb sweat, rather than all the sweat getting into the brace. If you sweat into it a bunch you'll have to wash it more.

It can be a bit tight, but if it wasn't you wouldn't get the support you need. Pay careful attention to the sizing so you don't get one too big or too small!

This brace keeps its elasticity for years. I purchased mine about three years ago and it still works well.

I still am not able to find a back support that fits a woman's hips

this back support is more effective then the ones i get from work they arent as supportive... it has saved my back from agony more than once .... its a must have for nurses, dock workers or just spring cleaning the garage 2 thumbs up i give it a 3 but i have only 2 thumbs :)

I bought the Lumiscope back support because it looked just like the one I once had for work... it definitely isn't

This thing is pretty much junk... Thin (extremely thin) elastic band covered in cloth, with Velcro.

doesn't do much of anything... I feel no support at all

waste of money.

This belt was very uncomfortable. I did not feel any relief in my back. It has been returned.
