U.S. pressing of the sophomore album from this eccentric UK outfit formed from the ashes of the beloved Beta Band. Following on from their critically acclaimed debut, Luna is more experimental than its predecessor. 10 minute Prog-Rock epics interspersed with Gregorian chanting and Trip Hop beats make Luna a very eclectic listen, although the quality of the songs consistently shines through. Contains the single 'Magic Man'.

the words of comic book guy..."best album - ever." comes to mind...
i get goosebumps telling my friends about this album...i came across a quote from someone that said: " their minds are immeasurably superior than ours" was spot on...while i was/am a huge beta band fan...i think the aliens definitely have taken it to a new level of genius.. if i had to choose stand-out tracks (which would truly be all of 'em), i would say, today, my favorites would be sunlamp show, blue mantle and billy jack...oh, and boats as well...star rating you ask?? well, how many are out there??? billions. that's my rating. thank you aliens!!

Do you want to explore the canyons in your mind? Then listen to this album. On their sophomore effort, The Aliens have taken us to places that we could seldom reach ourselves, without, ahem, help. For lack of a better term "They're out there is space, man". Incredible channeling of early Floyd comes through in such beautiful ways it would make Sid proud. Enjoy.

From the ashes that were the Beta Band, the Aliens rise on a magic carpet to bring us a great homage to the music of the late '60's. Drawing on influences like Syd Barrett, McCartney, and Bowie, they piece together a masterful album that holds up to anything those three ever put out. I'm totally in awe of this album. Brilliant from beginning to end.
