If you are looking for a mattress protector, this is the one to buy. My wife and I just purchased a new mattress and the salesman suggested purchasing a protector as it will not only keep the mattress clean but will also increase the life of the mattress especially if you have a pillow top. Apparently the salt and oil from your sweat degrades the foam over time. I was a bit skeptical of it just being a sales ploy. The one that was recommended was a protect-a-bed brand as it allows the air through but not liquids or sweat. I took a sample piece home with me to do some research with. After doing quite a bit of research online, I agreed that it would be worth trying one. In the end I decided on the Luna brand for several reasons. I thought their website was very informative and the price was significantly less then the protect-a-bed brand. The best part is that it is made in the USA! We have used it for several nights now and there is no plastic noise, no sweating and I didn't even notice it is on the bed. We bought the Luna brand pillow protectors as well and they work just the same.

Just recently bought a king size bed, apparently they are not warrantied if there are any signs of use, therefore; I decided I needed a full proof mattress protector. I did not want a thick noisy topper, so I did a lot of research and came accross this one. I love it! It protects my bed thus far from normal body sweat and it looks like new under the cover. I washed it the day I received it and it washed great. Definitely recommend this cover to protect your mattress and not change the feel of your bed

We purchased a queen and king Luna mattress protector along with standard Luna pillow protectors for our home. The package arrived quickly, which was nice as we had just purchased new mattresses and wanted to protect them. Upon initial inspection, the quality of the protectors were very good and you could tell the materials used were made to last.

The Luna mattress protector covered the mattresses very nicely like a fitted sheet. We had seen the same Luna protectors in the mattress store, but they were almost twice the price so we figured we'd try to save a few bucks and look on Amazon.

All in all we feel protected having applied the Luna mattress protectors as the salesperson at the store showed us a demonstration with colored water proving the material was waterproof. Waterproof, dust mite proof, hypoallergenic and half the price on Amazon..... Would recommend this product to anyone

Our cover protects a king-size memory-foam mattress used by my toddler for playing, sleeping, and even the occasional picnic. It has faced many wet insults from various sources and has worked 100% reliably every time. It is comfortable to sleep on (don't even notice it's there), has no smell, makes absolutely no sound, and fits easily on the mattress. It has been washed many times (we hang dry it). It just works! We love it.

I purchased this mattress protector for a king sized mattress that has a plush pillow top (which makes the bed several inches thicker than a standard). The protector not only fits perfectly, but has saved the mattress from numerous bulldog puppy accidents. I have washed and dried it as directed at least five times and it is still in great condition. The protector does make the bed warmer, but I have not noticed any crinkling noise. It is a great value and works!

First, I will say that this is a very well-made product, made in the USA! It fits the bed very well, not noisy at all, and feels nice.

But...it's very hot and makes both me and and my wife sweat quite a bit. I thought it might be that the new bed had something to do with it, but that's not the case. We switched to a different, non-leakproof, pad and it's a night and day difference. No more sweating at all. We did a week with both on the bed and the test was rather conclusive.

Unfortunately, I can't say if this brand is better or worse than another when it comes to leak-proof mattress pads. All I can say is that it warmed me up quite a bit.

I recently spent over $5k on a brand new memory foam mattress. We purchased a similar mattress cover from the store to maintain our warranty. I purchased this cover as a backup so I could wash the covers with the sheets.

I wish I had known to look here first! This cover cost almost half as much as the one I bought in a store, but the quality is better and it is made in the USA. It washes and dries easily with my sheets and is softer than the original cover I bought. I can tell which one we are using based on the feel of the bed. This cover seems to breathe better and has a more snug fit on the mattress. I would highly recommend this mattress cover to anyone with a memory foam or pillowtop mattress.

This is a fitted sheet design, and the sides are made from a very flimsy material (similar to a thin cheese cloth). I was expecting more robust coverage around the edges. The top material is excellent, but the sides let the top move around excessively meaning the edge of the bed is routinely unprotected and we only get 90-95% coverage of the top at any given time. Allergens can and will easily make their way onto the top of this protector via the non-existent side coverage.

On a positive note, it is easy to remove and wash and the top surface is exceptional. So if the side material had been made of the same high-quality stuff that the top surface is made from this would have been an easy 5+ star review.

I think I'll need to go back to a fully enclosed mattress protector with a zipper to seal off the sides to get adequate coverage. For water protection only this pad seems like it would work well unless the spill is near the edge.

Fit: I have a thick king mattress and it fit nicely.
Functionality: I haven't spilled anything, but it seems like it would protect the mattress.
Noise: It makes noticeable noise to me when I move around on the bed, a sort of swishing sound. It has been washed once.

If it wasn't noisy I would give it a 5.

I purchased this mattress pad to protect my brand new Tempurpedic mattress. The mattress pad is great and I cannot tell that I am using a waterproof mattress pad. It is very thin and makes no noise.
