I absolutely love Luna NuevaLuna Nueva. I appreciate the quality and detail invested in each song. Debi Nova has consolidated herself and her proposals are both provocative and charming.
She brings back to pop the musical quality and arrangement of the 80's with very organic sound and a delightful mixture of rhythms and influences that reflect rock, Brazilian bosanova and Caribbean influences. I specially like her use of voice to add little details and touches that compliment the main melody. I love her use of Hispanic slang in some songs, never Spanglish, instead she does a harmonic mixture of phrases that respects the roots and correctness of each language. Some songs are beautifully simple like Vete de Mi, which makes your heart vibrate, while others are a complete celebration of rhythm like Drummer Boy. Thanks for this lovely CD.

I think this CD is great! Debi is very talented and she presents this album with all kinds of music to all kinds of audience. Besides being beautiful and talented, Debi has great charisma that will lead her straight to the top! Besides, she is from Costa Rica! so she is Pura Vida!!! I would recommend this album to everyone, as it contains both from danceable and catchy (Drummer Boy) to slow and romantic (Calle sin Salida) songs. I bet we will hear a lot more from her in coming years because she is leading her career to success!!

This CD is wonderful. I bought this after hearing Debi perform on So You Think You Can Dance. I was blown away by her performance and the CD is just as good. The music has a smooth tropical feel to it that makes you want to dance, but just relaxing enough it also works well as backgroung music while cleaning, reading a book etc.... My only compliant is it is too short!

I am enjoying the CD. It is light, fun and is good for dancing or the party in the backyard! Love it.

Excelente voz!!! Como transmite esta canta-autora cuando se sienta al piano y comienza a cantar... La vi por primera vez en el concierto de Franco De Vita y su actuación fue sencillamente ESPECTACULAR.... Por supuesto que salí del concierto a comprar sus discos y a deleitarme con sus canciones.... Debi entrará (ya entró) en mi colección personal de música como una de mis favoritas (espero más discos).... Gracias Franco por darnos a conocer estos nuevos y poco conocidos talentos de América Latina, esto muestra tu calidad y proyección tanto humana como profesional.... Tu música y ellos serán tu legado

If you're into upbeat music with Latin inspired beats that you can dance to and a singer whose voice is so so beautiful, then this is the CD for you.

I like the smooth latin feel. It is also great for some of our favorite ballroom dances.

After seeing Debi Nova on "So You Think You Can Dance" last week, I knew I had to find her track "Drummer Boy." But now I'm buying the whole album. Perfect summer music!
