Avoiding the "sophomore slump"˙, December 19, 1999
This is the second album from Rosana, an amazingly talented musician and songwriter. For those unfamiliar with her, I highly recommend her first album, "Lunas Rotas" before getting this one. That said, she continues her poetry on this album with some phenomenal songs, but this is not the type of album you want to listen to from beginning to end, as was her first. The best songs are "Ya No Siento", "Dunas de Poemas", "Sonrie", "Si Yo Fuera Tu Amante" y "Navidad", a Caribbean-style Christmas carol not actually listed on the album. The remaining songs tend to venture into unknown territory for Rosana, and it loses a lot in the attempt. Nonetheless, she will continue to strike a cord with her haunting lyrics that seem so human, yet so eloquent. In short, I recommend this album, but with the understanding that the first is far superior. Let's hope for a third album soon that will surpass these first two!

Almost as good as Lunas Rotas, March 20, 2000
After reading the reviews, I doubted at first about buying this CD, but when I bought it and began to listen to it carefully I found excellent songs. Rosana explores new rythms here and does it successfully, I think. Sonríe, with African influence; Pa Calor, which is a cha-cha-cha; El dia que se hizo tarde, a ranchera that is also beautifully sung by Maria Dolores Pradera. And of course we have Contigo, my favorite, which I consider as beautiful as Si tú no estás. I think this CD needs more careful listening, but it is worth to have it.

another success!, June 17, 2000
you can't compare Rosana's current work with her previous. artists who take risks and explore different approach to music are much more daring people than those who are stagnant. her second album is just as refreshing as the first, only different. i actually like it even more....
